I have bought pair of new boots. I have had 4 training sessions and 1 match in them yet I still suffer from painful blisters. Anyone got any tips?

I have tried adding an extra sock and putting plasters over where they normally appear but still no use.

Try putting Vaseline on the foot, then on the sock. It cuts down on friction and watches out in hot water very easily. Use it liberally. If you are wearing two pairs of socks put it on the inner sock. Also suggest you wear a santitary sock not two pairs of regular socks. You can usually get them in the baseball section and they are thin and much more comfortable as an under sock. Tell me how it works.
