| Could do with any advice please. Im 34 years old and for the past 5 years i have managed/coached u16 and u18 teams with one of Irelands biggest amature football clubs, ST MICHAELS FC, in tipperary.I have had some moderate sucess at this level in the past few seasons, this season my club has asked me to take on our junior B team. I played for this team for the last few seasons and i wont be going back as a player only as manager, what id like is advice on how to do the job, with the fact i am mates with some of the players and i would tend to be more strict than our previous manager.and does the step up from youth managment to junior take a hard few seasons to adjust. Any and all advice welcome
