| Surely by that definition all tackles are "dangerous".

| Nobody involved with football wants to see injuries especially to youngsters which goes without saying but due to the physical nature of football and the fact that it is played by individuals who all have different temprements and aggression etc then i believe its something that inevitably happens however well certain things are taught / coached. I do not agree that slide tackling should be left out at a young age because then there is a lot more chance of injury when there older as they havent been coached from a young age how to do it correctly. I recently read an article about stopping it in the full game at adult/proffesional level as flair players are being hindered by poor tackling - 100% disagree, flair players earn there stripes by outwitting physical opponants not been given special treatment. David Busst at Coventry suffered the worst injury i have ever seen and no one was anywhere near him!! We love football because of how it is NOT by keep changing the rules. The physical side is as much of an art as the rest of it, lets not water our game down anymore please!!
