Great results and great advice you have already received. As for a kit, T-shirts is definitely good. Get the players to get involved in designing. If you want other ideas, trying going to ebay and looking for kits. Sometimes you can find them in the right sizes cheap. Also look at local outlet stores for cheap options, even approach a local club and see if they have extra uniforms they never used when purchasing them. Good luck.:)

That is beautiful! As long as the kids get to play who cares about kit! There is so much to be learned from this game that it will carry on in their future lives. Your time will be appreciated for years to come and make a huge differrence!

No problem at all. I'm glad to hear that even though you lost, you see the potential of the players, that they can see the triangles, and continue to learn how to use them.

We tried your formation and it was the best that we have ever played. We were passing the ball really well and scored two great goals. Unfortunately, we lost 4-2, but that was only because we haven't got a goalkeeper at the moment and every shot they had went in.

We will stick with that formation next week and I am confident that we will get a result.

Thanks Bobby. We have five outfield players and a goalkeeper. I will play with 2 defenders, 1 midfielder and 2 strikers in our next match. We haven't tried that formation, so it just might work. Please pass on anymore advice as it is very welcome.

If it's 6v6 including a goalie, then your absolute best formation is a 2-1-2. This creates the maximum number of triangles for that number of players.

This is over 18's. We play on Astro Turf outdoor pitches. We seem to be struggling to find the correct tactics and formation. I would be very grateful for any advice that you could offer.

Hi everybody. I have started a 6 a side team and our first game is on Sunday. We have very average players and have played a couple of friendlies and lost 4-1 and 3-0. Our first league game is a few days away and I was wondering if any experienced 6 a side teams/players had any useful advice on how to become a hard team to beat.

It would be great if we could get a result in our first game as it would increase the teams morale. So if anybody has any ideas on the bast formation and tactics it would be very appreciated.
