This is a simple football warm-up drill to work on your players' balance and encourage them to develop fast feet skills.

Football (soccer) warm up drill for fast feet

  • Hop forward on one leg.

  • One hop in each square.

  • After every three hops, step once out of the ladder onto the other leg.

  • Continue this sequence until the ladder is complete.

  • Contact the ground with the balls of the feet.

  • Repeat football warm-up drill five times.

  • Rest for 60 seconds between repetitions.
