Stop turn soccer drill
Use these soccer coaching tips to get your players practising a stop and turn move. The key to this move is to get your soccer (football) players to stop the run as quickly as possible.

Tell your soccer (football) players what they must watch out for is the defender coming in close behind them, because they are likely to lose the ball. So this turn is best used at pace and with a bit of space.
